Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that the proposed RM4 billion Kota Madani project must align with Madani principles, balancing developers’ profit motives with values of faith, sincerity, and sustainability. Speaking at a Federal Territories event, he stressed that the project, involving government land and agencies like Ukas, will be reviewed at the Cabinet level.
Kota Madani aims to be a virtuous city, prioritizing accessibility with underground vehicle systems, pedestrian-friendly routes to schools and mosques, and weather-conscious design. Federal Territories Minister Zaliha Mustafa noted that civil servants could save up to RM1,000 monthly through this sustainable urban development.
