The Finance Ministry announced that fuel prices will drop nationwide beginning tomorrow following a decline in global oil prices. In West Malaysia, diesel will be reduced by 85 sen to RM5.12 per litre, while RON97 falls 25 sen to RM4.85 and unsubsidised RON95 decreases 15 sen to RM3.87.
RON95 & RON97 Petrol Prices Drop
Subsidised RON95 under the BUDI95 programme remains at RM1.99, while subsidised diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan stays at RM2.15. The ministry cautioned that despite easing prices, uncertainty persists due to disruptions in West Asia and lingering effects of the Iran war. These rates are effective until April 29.
