At the PKR national congress in Johor Bahru, Pakatan Harapan secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail pledged to rebuke party president and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim if promises go unfulfilled. Speaking at Persada Johor International Convention Centre, the home minister emphasized that loyalty means addressing weaknesses honestly for the party and public’s benefit. “I’ll be the first to rebuke if there’s a gap between words and actions,” he told delegates. Anwar, in his policy speech, committed to dedicating one day weekly from June to strengthen PKR, including fostering ties within the Madani government coalition.
