Two security guards in Kuala Lumpur faced charges of mischief for allegedly throwing petrol bombs at an entertainment center. M. Preemraj and Nor Rahman Sadik pleaded not guilty in court. They were accused of abetting the suspect, causing a loss of RM3,000.

Security Guards face 14 years jail
Charged under Section 109 of the Penal Code, they face a maximum jail term of 14 years. Deputy Public Prosecutor offered bail at RM15,000 each, with the condition of monthly reporting to the police station. Lawyer MV Yoges requested lower bail, citing Preemraj’s health issues and Nor Rahman’s wife in confinement.
