KUALA LUMPUR — PKR MP Wong Chen has defended his appearance at a Bersama rally, challenging party leaders to expel him if they believe he has violated party principles. The Subang MP, who delivered a speech at the event organised by former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli’s breakaway movement, rejected calls for his resignation.

Meanwhile, the Progressive Bloc, comprising Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM), MUDA and Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM), announced cooperation for upcoming state elections. The coalition pledged to focus on cost-of-living issues, quality employment, environmental sustainability, affordable housing and institutional reforms aimed at strengthening transparent governance.
