A Facebook user recently posted a screenshot of his Air Pahang water bill in the Facebook group “We Are All People From Raub,” to which he joked, “Can I file for bankruptcy?” He got a shock of a lifetime indeed seeing his water bill.
He discovered that his water bills totaled a staggering RM144,625! The amount of water the user used the previous month totalled a meagre RM71.05. The exorbitant amount in the new bill is most likely due to a clerical error with Air Pahang.
The Malaysian man was quoted saying this amount of money is for using 99,740m3 of water, which is approximately 99,740,000.00 litres of water, or 66,493,333 Coca-Cola bottles!
