Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli revealed that his wife has received threatening messages following the assault on their 12-year-old son yesterday. One message chillingly read, “Diam! Andai teruskan, AIDS!” (“Shut up! If you continue, AIDS!”) accompanied by three syringe emojis. Rafizi said some messages warned them to remain silent, while describing the attackers as dressed entirely in black. Visibly emotional, Rafizi paused briefly during a press conference in Parliament, where several PKR MPs stood in support. The incident has sparked outrage and concern over the safety of politicians’ families amid rising political tensions. Police investigations are ongoing.
