BUKIT MERTAJAM, April 4, 2025 – The family of Human Resources Minister Steven Sim’s adopted daughter has returned RM100 to PAS MP Fawwaz Mohamad Jan after a viral video sparked outrage. The video, allegedly by a PAS supporter, claimed the girl received aid from Fawwaz, not Sim, prompting Sim’s special officer, Rosly Yusof, to confirm the refund via Facebook. The girl’s father returned the money to Fawwaz’s aide, who pledged to probe the clip. Sim slammed the opposition for targeting his adopted child, who receives RM200 monthly under his care programme, vowing legal action.
