NEW: Split Emerges in PN with PAS Boycott of Gerakan’s Lau

1 min read

A split between GERAKAN and PAS was obvious on nomination day with president Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai left stranded in the absence of PAS supporters to back him at Bayan Lepas.

Two days ago, Lau pointed to “poor communication” as the reason for the call by the PAS division in Bayan Lepas to boycott the polls. They made it clear they were not happy with the prospects of his nomination in this Malay majority seat.
