New: STAR Sabah Slams Nurul Izzah’s Bid for 13 Seats in State Election as Threat to Autonomy

Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR Sabah) has strongly criticized PKR Deputy President Nurul Izzah Anwar’s plan to contest 13 seats in the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election, calling it a challenge to Sabah’s political autonomy. STAR’s Anuar Ghani condemned PKR’s move as treating Sabah like a “political colony,” undermining the Malaysia Agreement 1963. He criticized PKR’s deployment of campaign teams from Peninsular Malaysia as disrespectful and questioned their seat demands given PKR’s past electoral performance. STAR Sabah urges support for local parties to protect Sabah’s rights and identity.
