Sze Fei-Izzuddin now into Arctic Open finals

Malaysian shuttlers Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani stunned China’s world No. 1 men’s doubles pair, Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang, to reach the final of the 2024 Arctic Open in Finland. Ranked world No. 8, Sze Fei-Izzuddin won 19-21, 21-17, 21-18 in an intense 62-minute match. They will face the winners of the semi-final between Thailand’s Kittinupong Kedren-Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Denmark’s world No. 2 duo, Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen. In mixed doubles, Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai were eliminated after a 21-14, 21-8 loss to China’s world No. 3, Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin.
