Police rule out criminal element in teenager’s electrocution death
Kuala Selangor police chief Supt Azaharudin Tajuddin said initial investigations found no criminal elements and the case is being treated as a sudden death report.
A post-mortem later confirmed that the cause of death was consistent with electrocution. Police are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
The tragic incident has raised concerns over the safety of electrical infrastructure in public recreational areas, particularly where residents and young people regularly gather.
Authorities have urged witnesses with information to contact the Kuala Selangor police Operations Room or the nearest police station as investigations continue.
