Teresa Kok, an MP, is suing Siti Mastura Mohamad over recent claims, alleging defamation and familial connections within DAP. Kok, also a Seputeh MP, issued a Letter of Demand to Siti Mastura, granting a deadline for apology and retractions.
Teresa Kok to sue Siti Mastura
Referring to religious and racial insinuations, Kok criticized Siti Mastura’s lack of response. The lawsuit, soon to be filed, demands a RM10 million compensation. The defamation saga escalates as multiple DAP leaders, including Lim Kit Siang and his son, Guan Eng, are implicated.
Despite being served with legal notices, Siti Mastura’s lawyer hasn’t scrutinized the allegations yet. Guan Eng had previously taken legal action against Siti Mastura.
