A TikTok video shows the bus bay for passengers filled with people at the Singapore-Johor crossing, reviving the memories and realities of the pre-pandemic days.
The video shows the Malaysian Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex packed with people waiting to get their passports stamped, with the person who uploaded the video claiming that it took them 5 hours to do so.
At the three-hour mark, the woman says, she was forced to sit on the ground to eat biscuits and even read a book. “I can’t believe we endured this,” she wrote in the video caption.
