Thief: “I’m Borrowing From The Rich” Gets 4-Year Jail Sentence

Ng Kim Swee, a 75-year-old Malaysian with a history of theft convictions dating back to 1971, has been sentenced to four years in prison for pickpocketing. She gained notoriety for justifying her thefts as a form of “borrowing from the rich.” Her criminal record includes theft and housebreaking offences in Malaysia and Singapore.
