This response follows the arrest of seven people in Malaysia, linked to the terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah, with authorities tracking over 20 additional suspects. Singapore’s Internal Security Department (ISD) remains in contact with Malaysian counterparts. The MHA urged early reporting of radicalisation signs and advised Singaporeans in Malaysia to exercise vigilance and take necessary safety precautions.
