A whistleblower is intensifying efforts to expose alleged incriminating actions by several state assemblypersons, claiming to hold video evidence that could implicate top state leaders. In an interview with Malaysiakini, he expressed deep concerns for his safety, fearing political and personal backlash for challenging highly influential figures. As a precaution, he is requesting full protection prior to filing an official report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). While the MACC was briefed last month, details of the implicated politicians’ state remain undisclosed. “I am afraid. When it concerns politicians, even walls have ears,” he added, underscoring his apprehension.
