A woman lost RM1 million in an online baby formula scam. The 47-year-old factory supervisor met the scammer on TikTok in July and later communicated via Line. Johor police chief Datuk M. Kumar said the scam promised up to 30% commissions for selling baby formula, requiring an initial investment.

Convinced by an initial return, the victim transferred RM1.04 million between July and September, but received neither her capital nor commission. She reported the scam after failing to contact the scammer. The case is being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating. Malaysians are urged to be cautious of online schemes.
