100kg of Meth Found in Computer: Malaysian Arrested in Australia

A Malaysian was arrested near Sydney by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for attempting to smuggle 100 kilograms of methamphetamine hidden in a computer. The 45-year-old suspect was caught after the Australian Border Force (ABF) discovered the drugs in an air cargo shipment from Malaysia on October 16.

The ABF alerted the AFP, and the suspect was arrested upon taking possession of the consignment at a Kingsgrove storage unit on October 30. He was charged with attempting to possess a commercial quantity of border-controlled drugs, facing a maximum penalty of life imprisonment. The AFP and ABF emphasized their ongoing efforts against drug smuggling.
