Zahid said Umno’s stance reflects its broader position on respecting Negeri Sembilan’s adat and traditional rulers. He emphasized that the matter should be resolved by relevant parties and confirmed there is no proposal to replace Aminuddin.
The clarification follows Umno Negeri Sembilan’s statement reaffirming support for the unity government while expressing loss of confidence in Aminuddin’s leadership to maintain political stability.
