NEW: Ex-DBKL Deputy Director Gets Jail, RM1 Mil Fines

Sabudin Mohd Salleh was sentenced to four years in #prison and #fined RM1 million by the #HighCourt here today (August 15). He was a KL City Hall senior deputy director. He was found guilty on two charges of obtaining bribes amounting to RM200,000 for issuing work permits to a subcontractor.

Sabudin was freed on Sept 15, 2022, by a Sessions Court. But prosecutors appealed against the judgement and Judge K. Muniandy allowed the prosecution’s appeal. Sabudin, 62, was charged on two corruption charges.
