Putra Heights, April 04, 2025 – A retired civil servant, Zainuddin Abdul Halim, 60, claims he lost RM1.5 million after a gas pipeline explosion on Tuesday destroyed nine of his properties, including eight rental homes. In a tearful TikTok video showing the charred remains, Zainuddin recounted the blast that shook his house, forcing him and his eight family members to flee. All suffered burns from the intense heat, with his son still hospitalized awaiting surgery for scalded feet. The family had just been discussing a trip to Rembau when the explosion occurred. Zainuddin urged the government to assist victims of the disaster.
