One of the largest airlines in the world has recently gotten into trouble as they had lost a 12 year old passenger. The child’s mother blamed the flight attendants saying they did not keep an extra eye out for the child.
The airline offers an unaccompanied minor service to those that are underaged and travelling alone. Children flying alone will be accompanied by the flight attendants onboard and off board the aircraft, and the ground staff will then escort the child to their guardian.
Commenters mentioned that children nowadays are not easy to handle, as once the plane lands the flight attendants have a number of tasks to complete. A child could just have left the aircraft without their knowledge. Some even mentioned that as adults, they can even get lost at the airport.
