Arteta Insists Premier League Title Race Still Open After New Loss To Man City

1 min read

MANCHESTER – Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted the Premier League title race is far from over despite his side’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City. Erling Haaland’s second-half strike secured victory for City, who can overtake Arsenal if they win their game in hand against Burnley.

Premier League

Arsenal remain three points clear at the top with 70 points from 33 matches, with five fixtures left. Arteta said the league feels “like starting again,” as Arsenal prepare for crucial matches against Newcastle, Fulham, Burnley, West Ham, and Crystal Palace. Arsenal also face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals. Or will Arteta be remembered as the ‘nearly man’?
