BN wins in the Ayer Kuning by-elections

In the Ayer Kuning by-election, Barisan Nasional (BN) has surpassed 50% of the votes with an estimated 58% voter turnout, according to unofficial results.

Umno secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki declared victory at BN’s command centre, leading supporters in chants of “Allahu Akbar.” BN holds a lead of over 4,000 votes against Perikatan Nasional (PN) with only 16 polling streams remaining, making a PN comeback unlikely.
