However, some netizens feel that it is blasphemous to buy drinks from the brand solely due to their Greek God logo. Netizens state that this behavior is “weird.”
Boycotting Zus Coffee for their logo is weird
An X user states that this is a weird behavior. Furthermore, she states that Monday, Tuesday, etc are from Greek Gods as well. Having a specific name is not really in relation to praying to another deity. Christian Dior a luxury fashion brand, will conservative Malaysians start boycotting them for their name as well?
Furthermore, other netizens are stating that users should tone down with Zus Coffee. This stemmed from a now deleted tweet from an X user who claimed that buying from the brand would be “syirik khofi” when in reality, they were already given Halal certification and were pre-approved by JAKIM.
