Cats and dogs are known to not get along well with each other. However, when raised in the same household together, they will most definitely end up as friends. Usually, there would be one mimicking the other, depending on which animal is the older one.
Unfortunately for this dog, his housemate, who is a cat, managed to jumpscare him. It is not uncommon for cats to do that as they are instinctively similar to wild animals. They love to hunt their “prey” and catch them off guard. Sometimes they can do that to humans as well.
Netizens joked that the puppy would say it’s early in the morning and it has not received its morning coffee to deserve this behaviour. Others stated that this kind of video should be the only thing allowed on social media.
