Netizens defended the MADANI Government over cooking oil prices after a viral X post criticised the government. They pointed out that prices were higher during the previous administration and have since decreased.

Comparison charts showed the difference in prices between the two governments. Economic Affairs Minister Rafizi Ramli praised the MADANI Government for controlling inflation, especially food and drink prices.
He noted that prices surged during the COVID-19 pandemic but began dropping in March 2023. Ramli also clarified the cost of the Central Database Hub (PADU).
