The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to an alternative charge under Section 471 of the Penal Code, which carries up to two years’ jail, a fine, or both. Loh promptly paid the fine after sentencing.

Court documents showed that in August 2022, a man sought his help at his Melaka office for licence processing. Loh then altered bank records and submitted them to APAD on September 15, 2022. The application was initially approved before the fraud was uncovered.
