DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke emphasized that despite the cabinet’s refusal to establish a royal commission of inquiry (RCI), investigations into the alleged “corporate mafia” have been expanded. Speaking on an online programme, Loke reiterated that DAP views the allegations as extremely serious and insists they must be investigated thoroughly.

He stressed that since probes are underway, there must eventually be a clear outcome, and DAP will continue pressing for accountability. Loke added that the party’s position remains firm in calling for an RCI, underscoring the importance of transparency and decisive action in addressing corporate misconduct.
