Khaled said the meeting would focus on clarifying the issues raised and improving the situation.
Defence Minister
Khaled said he believed the remarks and royal decree should be addressed clearly, with the meeting aimed at finding ways to improve the situation within MINDEF and the ATM. The meeting follows concerns raised by Tunku Mahkota Ismail regarding decisions involving the Special Forces Regiment (RGK).
The Johor Regent previously stressed that decisions approved by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim should not be altered for the benefit of certain parties.
He also highlighted the need for the RGK to receive proper equipment, weapons, mobility, technology and operational assets amid an increasingly complex regional security environment.
