“I come from a difficult background, so I try to help the poor” says Rafizi

1 min read

Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli did not forget his background and as soon as he became a Minister, he launched a program to reduce poverty among the Rakyat. But today, his own party PKR is apparently attempting to a blame game against Rafizi. He says he comes from a poor background and was only trying to help the poor with the vending machine project.

Difficult background

In a video on Facebook, Rafizi replies in part to those who accuse him of spending a large sum of money ‘while the country is in a difficult situation’. Fact is when Rafizi launched the plans to assist individuals (whether they are struggling or not) to own a vending machine to sell their product, he was trying to assist people to start a business. There has been many success stories since then. He used to post these successes on his social media accounts before his resignation as Minister. What will happen next….will the govt stop the vending machine project?
