Malaysia celebrated double success at the Arctic Open as Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah reached the women’s doubles final after a grueling 102-minute match, defeating Japan’s Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi 21-19, 19-21, 26-24. The world No. 7 pair showcased resilience, bouncing back from 11-16 down in the third game to secure their spot in their third final this year. They will face China’s world No. 2 Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning next. In men’s doubles, Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin upset China’s top-ranked Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang 19-21, 21-17, 21-18 to reach the final.​
