A car chase resembling a movie scene unfolded from Petaling Jaya to Cyberjaya, involving a Perodua Bezza pursued by 28 Royal Malaysia Police vehicles. The driver, 27-year-old B. Anbarasan, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and obstructing police duties.

Driver Jailed
Magistrate Shahril Anuar Ahmad Mustapa sentenced him to one month in prison, a RM5,000 fine, and a 5-year driving ban for reckless driving. He received an additional RM5,000 fine for obstructing public servants. Anbarasan could have faced a maximum 5-year imprisonment and a minimum RM15,000 fine for dangerous driving. Failure to pay the total RM10,000 fine results in an 8-month jail term.
