BANGKOK, March 16 — An 87-year-old man was killed after being attacked by a wild elephant in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand. The victim, identified as Heng Sae-Roo, encountered the animal while urinating behind his house early in the morning. Rescue workers arrived around 4.45am and found him critically injured after being trampled. He was rushed to hospital but later died.

Local villagers said the elephant had strayed from Khao Yai National Park in search of food near a pineapple plantation. Wildlife officials later guided the animal back into the forest to prevent further danger to residents.,
