Kuala Lumpur: The High Court today sentenced the father and brother of the Ulu Tiram police station attacker to 30 years in prison after they pleaded guilty to terrorism-related charges. Judge Nurulhuda Nur’aini Mohamad Nor handed Radin Imran Radin Mohd Yassin, 64, three 30-year sentences for planting extremist ideology, supporting terrorist acts, and possessing firearms.

The sentencing adds three years for owning books linked to terrorist groups. His son, Radin Romyullah, 36, received 30 years for supporting terrorism and three years for possessing related materials. Their sentences run concurrently from May 17, 2024, the date of arrest. The attacker’s mother was jailed four years.
