1 min read

Recently, a claim from an X user states that foreign workers are making the country lose money. They are allegedly making RM4,000 a month and are sending most of the money back to their homelands. However, the user also claims that they spend roughly only RM200 a month here.

Foreign workers defended by netizens

An X user went viral after asking how much our country is losing out to these workers. However, other users ask how much Malaysians take from other countries like Singapore as well. But they claim that those Malaysians working abroad are paying taxes.

Others state that most locals do not want to enter such a line of work, hence we still need these individuals to do the job for us.
