Government Now Restores Budi95 Quota to 300 Litres

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 31, 2026 – The government has announced the restoration of the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) monthly quota from 200 litres to 300 litres, benefiting more than 16 million eligible users. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in his National Day 2026 address at PICC, said the move aims to ease financial burdens while ensuring subsidies remain targeted.

Additionally, over 500,000 diesel vehicle owners will now be entitled to 400 litres of subsidised diesel per month, up from 300 litres. The adjustment reflects the government’s commitment to balancing fiscal responsibility with the daily needs of Malaysians.
