A Threads post by a Grab driver has sparked an entertaining discussion after asking fellow drivers about the strangest or rarest items passengers have accidentally left in their cars.
The post invited drivers to share unusual experiences, with several commenters revealing stories ranging from food to electronic devices.
Grab Drivers Trade Stories About Forgotten Passenger Belongings
One driver recalled finding five packets of nasi lemak left in his car. When the passenger later asked whether he had bought nasi lemak nearby, the driver said the food was not his and contacted the customer.
The passenger reportedly told him the food was meant for the driver and suggested he share it. The driver eventually gave some packets to Petronas staff, left others elsewhere and kept one for himself.
Another commenter shared that passengers had left three AirPods in the car. The devices reportedly kept making the “Find My” sound, with the driver suggesting the passenger may have been from mainland China and had already returned there.
The light-hearted replies highlighted how drivers sometimes end up with unexpected “souvenirs” after completing their trips.
