In response to the IC viralling, another user requested if her IC is ever found, the person who found it should just simply send it to the police station. This is in lieu of her not wanting her face plastered all over social media. Most of us do not have a good IC photo.
Others state that losing one’s identity card will cost them a lot of money if it is a frequent occurrence. Regardless, for those who’d prefer to keep a low profile, please do not lose your identity card.
