In Alor Setar, Kedah, 51‑year‑old hawker Nicky has introduced an all‑you‑can‑eat noodle concept at just RM3 per person, aiming to ease financial burdens for low‑income workers. 

Low‑Cost Noodles Ease Burden for B40 Families

Formerly a chef in the UK and Singapore, Nicky returned home a decade ago to care for his family. Inspired by his own struggles with poverty, he now fries up to 12kg of bihun, kuey teow, and noodles daily to meet demand. 

While add‑ons cost extra, his stall attracts hundreds, offering affordable meals and dignity to those earning under RM2,000 a month.
