This is to ensure that the aid can be utilised by all students, not just those in a specific age category. Anwar made this statement during a dialogue session with the Student Representative Council of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) throughout Malaysia. The decision was made in response to a student representative who raised concerns about the limited eligibility criteria for the RM200 e-Wallet assistance, which excluded some students.
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, assured that the Minister of Higher Education will implement immediate plans to ensure internet access on all campuses nationwide is good. The Prime Minister also discussed the issue of high domestic flight ticket prices and suggested that subsidies may be necessary to address the problem.
