More Beds For KL, Klang Hospitals From Maybank

Kuala Lumpur: Maybank has committed RM14 million to provide more beds, staff and training at two public hospitals in Kuala Lumpur and Klang says chairman Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa.

He says work would be carried out over 20 weeks from the end of the month and six more ICU beds will be provided for Category 4 and 5 Covid-19 patients at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang. 10 at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Both hospitals will also receive 200 extra beds each for Covid-19 patients. The programme will be carried out through Mercy Malaysia.
