Apparently, many are unhappy at the vendors and sellers selling nasi ayam for RM11. They state that the price of chicken has gone down, hence the price of the meal should also be reduced. Additionally, they even made memes about the whole ordeal.

X users state that individuals are blaming the government for the increase of prices. But, in reality, the cost of raw goods, especially chicken, is the same as it was since 2010. Most parts of the world, this would not be reflective of the situation.
Others state that the economy is slumping and they have instalment payment plans to pay, hence the prices staying the same.
