For employers with fewer than five employees, the order will begin on August 1, allowing time for salary adjustments. The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) emphasized compliance and highlighted the benefits for 4.37 million workers.
The Order aligns with the MADANI Economy framework, aiming to increase purchasing power and improve quality of life. Non-compliance may result in fines under the National Wages Consultative Council Act 2011.
