SIBU, Oct 5 — Panic erupted along Jalan Oya when a Perodua Kenari crashed into a motorcycle and several cars at 11.35am today. At least eight vehicles were damaged in the chaotic scene, captured in a viral video showing the car ramming through traffic.

Witnesses said the driver, 25, claimed he was fleeing someone who was chasing him. Members of the public eventually stopped the vehicle before police arrived. Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and verify the driver’s claim. — The Borneo Post
