Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah clinched the women’s doubles title at the 2024 Hong Kong Open, defeating China’s world No. 3 pair Liu Sheng Shu-Tan Ning 21-14, 21-14 in just 35 minutes. This victory marks the first time a Malaysian pair has won the title at the Hong Kong Open. It’s also their first BWF Super 500 series win this year, following their runner-up finish at the Korean Open and a strong run at the Paris Olympics.
