KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10, 2026 – Police have launched a special operation to track down a man who doused petrol on a 62‑year‑old woman and set her ablaze at Taman Pusat Kepong. Acting Sentul OCPD Supt Jasni Zolpa said the victim, who worked at a number forecast operator counter, suffered 50% burns and is in stable but critical condition at Kuala Lumpur Hospital. Preliminary investigations revealed she had no known enemies or threats, and the motive remains unclear.
Police Hunt Suspect
