Rayer Fed Up With Ridhuan Tee’s Racial Rhetoric

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30, 2026, Jelutong MP RSN Rayer has demanded immediate action against controversial preacher Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, saying repeated police reports have failed to curb his divisive rhetoric.

Rayer lodged a police report in Penang over Ridhuan’s social media post that used the term “ultra kiasu harbi,” equating non-Muslim political figures to “enemies of Islam.” He described the remarks as insulting and degrading to the Chinese community, warning that unchecked hate speech could deepen racial divisions and spark unrest.

“Cukup-cukuplah! How many more reports must be filed before this rhetoric is stopped?” Rayer said, adding that inaction risks fueling public anger and reinforcing perceptions of double standards. He stressed that Pakatan Harapan stands for accountability and equal enforcement of the law.

Rayer argued that Ridhuan’s repeated posts incite hostility and threaten public order, urging police to investigate under Section 505(c) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. He also reminded that conversion to Islam does not erase one’s ethnic identity, criticizing Ridhuan for disparaging his own community.

The DAP lawmaker warned that failure to prosecute Ridhuan would embolden further racial provocation, undermining national unity and social harmony.
