A man bought a gold bracelet at the Pasar Karat (Karat Market), which is a stone’s throw from the Causeway and to his surprise, the RM10 bracelet turned out to be laden with real gold worth S$2,275.
He found the hidden gold in the bracelet after the weighed it and found that it was pretty heavy and started to scrap the metal to find that it may contain gold.
He then did an alchemist job with the scraps to separate the gold from the non-gold metal contents and discovered, after his scientific twist, that the bracelet was worth a fortune! The man, Mohamad Kitartech, shared about his find in an Oct. 12 post on the Emas Used Atau Terpakai Sahaja Facebook group.
